Our mission

OIKOSLab is a market-based incubator for the development and provision of concepts and solutions for demand and identified future needs. We work closely with clients and identify the needs of the existing situation, which we provide through:

• own key technology or knowledge
• cooperation with selected partners

This may mean adjusting the situation through the development of technologies and / or packaging systems.

We also run their own development projects, focusing much needed solutions in dialogue with the client or in collaboration with the customer. This work involves finance, project and other efforts to provide a product or solution.

We often come into contact with innovative companies and individuals who have difficulty entering the market. It is often prototypes or subsystem solutions to identified values ​​on the market. We are ready to help, especially if their products fit into our concept. Methods of innovation and product development and technology support for this is one of our development areas.

Markets

Our main markets are Sweden and both developed countries and developing countries.

What makes the developing countries especially interesting is that the solutions of a variety of reasons to be simply structured for both manufacturing and maintenance reasons. They need to be robust and preferably also energy efficient and saving on raw materials.

The conditions in these countries is quite different from why the holistic view of the challenge is important. Our strategy is therefore not to act only as consultants. We are prepared to become active partners and shareholders in the companies and establishments that are made, with selected local partners.

We have have a longer term ambition than fulfill a ”project” in the strict sense. We are committed to our partners in a long term perspective into the operative phase.

Small-scale

Small scale is second approach that permeates our conceptual profile. This is especially important to be able to participate in the construction of the developing countries in the energy and waste disposal, in our view. Small scale is also of interest to the developed markets that enable the introduction of new solutions in an economically viable way.

Business Philosophy

Our business philosophy is integrity and transparency, this is particularly important in relation to developing countries.

We also have a community development focus area in which the concepts of innovation and growth go hand in hand with housing, economy as the basis for a future social and humanistic-based society with new technological systems for a sustainable world in balance – OIKOS
